Absolutely, the dumpster is equipped with a door that swings open, located at the dumpster's rear end.

The average weight of a 20-yard and 30-yard dumpster ranges from 3,000 lbs –

5,000 lbs when empty (keep in mind this can vary by manufacturer and material

– i.e., steel thickness, reinforcements, etc.). It's important to note that the cost of

renting a dumpster is influenced solely by the weight of the materials you dispose

of inside it, not the dumpster itself.

Our dumpsters do not come with a cover or lid. To protect against rainwater accumulation and to prevent debris from entering, we suggest covering the dumpster with a tarp and securing it with bungee cords.

We offer 20-yard and 30-yard dumpsters for rental. Our 20-yard dumpsters average

22’ x 8’ x 4’ in size while our 20-yard dumpsters average 22’ x 8’ x 6’.

To determine the weight of your debris, our truck is weighed with the loaded dumpster at the disposal facility to get the gross weight. After unloading, the truck is weighed again without the debris to gain the tare weight. The difference between these two weights gives the total debris weight. State-regulated scales ensure accuracy.

Certain items, such as mattresses, large electronic devices, tires, and items with freon, may attract extra charges per item at the disposal site. Speak with our team to get an idea of pricing before placing your order for specialty items

Prohibited items include hazardous waste, dirt, industrial waste, chemical products, and other specific items such as oil filters, pesticides, and electronics, among others. The liability for proper waste disposal remains with the customer. Full details on prohibited items are available on request.

The rental price covers one-time delivery and pickup of the chosen dumpster and a specified

rental period, ensuring all waste is disposed of at an approved facility.  

We will schedule your dumpster to be dumped and returned at the end of your rental period and begin the next rental period unless you know it is a final pick-up.

Due to Department of Transportation regulations, the maximum weight limit for any dumpster is approximately 15 tons. Be mindful of heavy materials and consult with us for any additional charges that may apply.

While unlikely, the weight of the dumpster and its contents could potentially damage your driveway. We recommend placing plywood or boards under the dumpster to mitigate any risk of harm. Please place plywood or boards before delivery for the driver to put the dumpster on.

A permit is usually necessary when the dumpster is placed on public property. Check with your local authorities for specific requirements, which can vary within the same area.

Placement on the street often requires a permit from your local municipality. Please verify local regulations beforehand.

Allow at least 4 feet of clearance on all sides of the dumpster for safe delivery. See our dumpster rental page for detailed dimensions.

We advise booking at least 24 hours ahead to ensure availability. Consider scheduling delivery for the day before you actually need it to accommodate specific timing needs.

Payments can be made via major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover) or checks. Payments via credit card can be processed online or over the phone.

While not required, having someone on-site can ensure the dumpster is placed according to your preferences. Additional charges may apply if relocation is needed and the dumpster is inaccessible. For changes to pickup schedules, contact us with your order number ready.
